  • I became a Sweet Adeline in 1996 after reading an article about Capitaland Chorus in Albany winning their regional competition—it sparked my interest immediately! I was lucky enough to join them on their first journey to international in Salt Lake City in 1997, and I was hooked. I sang with Capitaland until 2007, then became a charter member of Saratoga Soundtrack in 2008. After taking a break in 2015, I returned to singing with Millennium Magic in November 2024.

I’ve also enjoyed quartetting, singing with Unaccounted Four, which was an amazing experience. My favorite memories include my first international in Salt Lake City and, most recently,  October 2025 in Columbus. I never dreamed of winning an international medal, but I couldn’t have been prouder when our chorus earned the Harmony Achievement Award!

One of my favorite things about Millennium Magic—besides the incredible people—is the unique experience of singing without a director. At first, I wasn’t sure how I’d adjust, but it’s been exciting and rewarding. Each rehearsal requires personal preparation, which can feel overwhelming at first, but it makes every session so productive. With clear agendas and thoughtful planning, traveling a distance for rehearsal is absolutely worth it. Every member contributes, and every member matters to our shared vision.

Outside of chorus life, I’m a nurse practitioner in pediatric endocrinology at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
