  • I’ve always loved singing, and as a teenager, nothing thrilled me more than the harmonies of the Beach Boys. My first encounter with Sweet Adelines came in 1993 at a Christmas performance at the Auburn Mall, where I saw a colleague singing with Post Road Chorus. Two years later—after plenty of coaxing from a friend—I finally visited the chorus and auditioned. That was the beginning… I was hooked!

I’ve sung Bass in three choruses: Post Road, Metro West, and Millennium Magic. I started quarteting in 1996 and have sung in five quartets: Afterglow, In Sync, Happenstance, Treblesome, and now Synchrony Quartet. Singing in a quartet has been one of my greatest joys—it makes you stronger, more confident, and gives you the chance to harmonize with some truly amazing women.

I’m retired and live in Worcester, MA with my husband Peter and our sweet Maine Coon kitty, Adeline (aka Addie). I’m blessed with three married sons and nine wonderful grandchildren.

What I love most about Millennium Magic is the challenging music, the commitment of every member, and the high level of artistry we strive for. The size of the chorus makes it feel like singing in a big quartet—intimate, connected, and like family. I look forward to many more years of singing with this incredible group and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
